[0001] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to the field of wall supports, which are found particularly in garages, and which serve to support objects, such as for example garden accessories, a ladder or well a bike. Among the wall mounts, we already know the use of storage hooks that are attached to the wall of the garage and that allow to hang different objects. These storage hooks are usually screwed to the wall to extend perpendicular to the wall wall. A disadvantage of these hooks is that they become particularly bulky when they hang on the wall without being used. Often, storage hooks that are not used for a specific period, for example during a season, are not disassembled and prove to be inconvenient, especially when the storage hook is attached to the wall of a small garage area. OBJECT AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The purpose of the invention is to provide a wall support that overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks. To do this, the invention relates to a folding wall mount for attachment to a wall, said support comprising: a support arm having a first end portion; a base having a fixing portion for fixing the base to the wall, and a receiving portion defining a housing, having a longitudinal axis, for removably receiving the first end portion of the support arm, the receiving portion. and the first portion being arranged so that the support arm alternately has a first position and a second position, pivoted relative to the first position, and wherein the first end portion and the receiving portion comprise means locking means for blocking rotation about the longitudinal axis of the support arm relative to the base when the support arm is in at least one of the first and second positions. It is understood that the base is intended to be fixed integrally to the wall, while the support arm can be uncoupled from the base, for example to be stored when not in use. In addition, the support arm of the wall support according to the invention is advantageously foldable. According to a preferred embodiment, the support arm can be brought from the first position, its use position, in which it performs its function support, to the second rotated position, its position folded against the wall. In other words, when it is desired to use the wall mount to hook an object, the support arm is moved to its first position, wherein the arm extends transversely of the wall wall. Conversely, when the wall support according to the invention is not used, the support arm is brought into its second position, in which it is folded against the wall, whereby the bulk of the support is substantially reduced. According to the invention, the locking means make it possible to block the rotation of the support arm relative to the base when the support arm is in at least one of the first and second positions, so as to prevent a change of inadvertent position of the support arm. The support arm is then locked in rotation in at least one of the two positions. Preferably, the locking means make it possible to block the rotation of the support arm relative to the base when the support arm is in the first and second positions.
[0002] Preferably, the locking means are arranged to block the rotation of the support arm relative to the base when the support arm is in its first position, or in its second position. As a result, the support arm is not free to move from its first position to its second position, and vice versa, which gives increased security to the wall support according to the invention. To change the position of the support arm, the user can uncouple the support arm by removing it from the base, rotate it about an axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal axis and engage it again in the reception part. According to a preferred embodiment, to modify the position of the support arm, the latter is slightly raised by translation along the longitudinal axis while remaining engaged in the receiving part, before being pivotally rotated about the axis longitudinal and then down again. It is conceivable that the locking means are configured to act when the first end portion is fully engaged in the receiving portion, and they release the rotation of the support arm relative to the base when the arm is slightly raised. Advantageously, the receiving part of the base comprises a tube in which the first end portion of the support arm is slidably mounted. The support arm can then be easily decoupled from the base by lifting the support arm to disengage it from the base. As mentioned above, the first end portion may also be slightly raised, while remaining partially engaged in the receiving portion, to facilitate passage from one position to the other. To do this, the first end portion of the support arm is pivotally mounted in the tube. Preferably, the cross-sections of the receiving portion and the end portion are circular.
[0003] According to a particularly advantageous aspect of the invention, the locking means comprise a retaining element disposed at the lower end of the tube, while extending inside the tube transversely, and at least one cavity. formed in the first end portion of the support arm and for receiving the retaining element when the first end portion of the support arm is engaged in the tube, so as to prevent rotation of the support arm by report to the base. It is thus conceivable that when the end portion is engaged in the tube and said at least one cavity cooperates with the retaining member, the rotation of the support arm about the longitudinal axis is prevented. When the support arm is slightly raised, the retaining element is no longer coupled with the cavity, whereupon the support arm is free to pivot in the tube about the longitudinal axis, allowing the user to change the position of the support arm. Preferably, the first end portion has a first pair of diametrically opposed cavities, the retainer being received in the cavities of the first pair to maintain the support arm in the first position.
[0004] According to a preferred embodiment, the first end portion comprises a cylindrical skirt at the lower end of which are formed the cavities of the first pair. More preferably, the first end portion has at least one second pair of diametrically opposed cavities, the second pair of cavities being orthogonally disposed with respect to the first pair of cavities, the retaining member being received in the first pair of cavities. cavities of the second pair to hold the support arm in the second position. Preferably, the transverse dimension of the retaining member 30 is substantially equal to or slightly less than the width of the cavities 3032775 in order to block the rotation about the longitudinal axis of the tube. It is understood that the lateral edges of the cavities form stops for the retaining element, thus preventing rotation of the support arm relative to the tube. Without departing from the scope of the present invention, a weak clearance may exist between the retaining element and the edges of the cavities. Advantageously, the cavities are notches formed in a lower peripheral wall of the first end portion. The notches preferably extend in the axial direction of the tube. Particularly advantageously, the locking means 10 also constitute retaining means for axially holding the support arm in the base. For this purpose, the retaining element also constitutes an axial abutment for holding the first end portion in the tube. It is therefore understood that the retaining element is both a rotational locking means for holding the support arm 15 in its first or second position, and an axial abutment member for carrying the support arm. Preferably, when the retaining element is engaged in the cavities, the retaining element being below the cavities, the bottom of the cavities comes into axial contact with the stem, whereby the retaining element bears the first end portion, and therefore the support arm. Preferably, the retaining element is a rod which extends diametrically inside the tube at its lower end. The rod is attached to the tube, which is attached to the attachment portion.
[0005] As previously mentioned, the cross-sections of the tube of the base and the first end portion of the support arm are circular, so as to allow pivoting of the support arm relative to the base. Moreover, the outer diameter of the first end portion is substantially equal to, or slightly less than, the inner diameter of the tube.
[0006] According to a preferred embodiment, the fixing portion comprises a recess receiving the tube, and two attachment holes disposed on either side of the height of the tube. Preferably, the tube is welded to the attachment portion, and the attachment holes serve to receive fastening screws for attachment to the wall. According to a preferred embodiment, the support arm comprises at least one support portion which extends orthogonally with respect to the first end portion. Alternatively, the support arm forms a storage hook. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will be better understood on reading the following description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the wall support according to the invention, the support arm being decoupled from the base; - Figure 2 illustrates the support arm of the wall bracket of Figure 1; Figure 3 is a bottom view of the base of the wall bracket of Figure 1; FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the wall support of FIG. 1, the support arm being coupled to the base, the support arm being in its first position, the position of use; FIG. 5A is a sectional view of the wall support of FIG. 4, the support arm being locked in rotation in its first position; FIG. 5B illustrates the lower end of the first end portion when the support arm has been raised so that the retaining element is clear of the cavities; and FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the wall support of FIG. 2, the support arm being in its second position, the folded position. DETAILED DESCRIPTION With reference to FIGS. 1 to 6, an exemplary embodiment 10 of a folding wall support 10 according to the present invention will be described. As can be understood from FIG. 5, the folding support is intended to be fixed to a wall M. For the purposes of the present invention, by wall is meant any wall wall, whether inside or outside, also including partitions.
[0007] The foldable wall mount 10 includes a support arm 12 and a base 14. In this example, the support arm 12 has a straight support portion 16 disposed between a first end portion 18 and a second end portion 20. The support portion 16 and the second end portion 20 are shaped to form a hook. In this example, the second end portion 20 is connected to the support portion 16 via a first bent portion 22, so that the second end portion 20 is substantially orthogonal to the support portion 16 .
[0008] Likewise, the first end portion 18 is connected to the support portion 16 via a second bent portion 24, so that the support portion 16 extends orthogonally with respect to the first portion of end 18. The first end portion 18 has a lower end 18a which is opposed to the second bent portion 24.
[0009] This particular form of the support arm 12 is not limiting of the invention, other forms could be envisaged depending on the nature and shape of the objects to be supported. As can be understood from FIG. 2, in this example, the first end portion 18 has a tubular shape whose cross section is circular. More specifically, the lower end 18a of the end portion 18 comprises a peripheral wall 26 in which are formed a first pair of cavities 28,30, being in the form of notches, and a second pair of cavities 32 , 34, also in the form of notches. The cavities 28, 30, 32, 34 of the first and second pairs therefore form notches which, in this example, extend in the longitudinal direction A of the first end portion 18. In this example, the axial extent notches is about 1cm. Moreover, the cavities 28,30 of the first pair are diametrically opposed. It is the same cavities 32,34 of the second pair. In addition, the first and second pairs of cavities are considered in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A orthogonal to each other. The function of these cavities will be described below. Referring again to FIG. 1, it can be seen that the base 14 of the folding wall support 10 has a fixing portion 40 for fixing the base 14 to the wall M. The base 14 further comprises a receiving portion 42 which in this example comprises a tube 44 which defines a housing having a longitudinal axis B. The tube 44 is welded to the fixing part.
[0010] The fixing portion 40 has a recess 43 receiving the tube 44. It also has two attachment holes 45 which are arranged on either side of the height of the tube 44. The attachment holes are intended to receive fastening screws 47 to allow attachment of the base 14 to the wall M. As can be seen in FIG. 3, the cross section of the tube 44 has a circular shape, the outside diameter of the first end portion 18 being very slightly less than the inside diameter of the tube 44.
[0011] The receiving portion 42 further includes a retaining member 50 which is disposed at the lower end 44a of the tube 44. In this example, the retaining member 50 is attached to the tube and is in the form of a rod which extends inside the tube 44 transversely. As can be seen in FIG. 3, the retaining element 50 extends in a diametrical direction of the tube 44. In this example, the retaining element 50 is arranged to extend parallel to the wall. Without departing from the scope of the invention, the retaining element 50 shown in a position of 90 ° with respect to the example of Figure 3, while maintaining a diametral arrangement.
[0012] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 4, it is understood that the tube 44 is configured to removably receive the first end portion 18 of the support arm 12. Specifically, the first end portion 18 of the support arm 12 is slidably mounted in the tube 44 along the longitudinal axis B of the tube 44. In this example, the lower end of the first end portion is introduced into the tube at its upper end. Moreover, since the cross sections of the first end portion 18 and the tube 44 are circular, the outer diameter of the first end portion being substantially equal to or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the tube 44, it will be understood that the first end portion of the arm is also pivotally mounted in the tube 44 about the longitudinal axis B of said tube, which in this example is substantially vertical. Referring now to FIGS. 4 and 6, it can be seen that the receiving portion 40, and in particular the tube 44, and the first end portion 18 are arranged so that the support arm 12 alternately has a first position, the working position illustrated in Figure 4, and a second position, the folded position, illustrated in Figure 6, which is rotated relative to the first position.
[0013] In FIG. 6, the support arm 12 is shown in continuous lines in its second position, and in dotted lines, the same support arm 12 in its first position. It is understood that, in this example, the first and second positions form an angle of about 90 ° considered in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis B of the tube 44.
[0014] According to the invention, the first end portion 18 and the receiving portion 42, in this case the tube 44, comprises locking means for blocking the rotation, around the longitudinal axis B of the tube 44, of the support arm 12 relative to the base 14, when the support arm is in its first or second position.
[0015] To do this, the locking means comprise the retaining element 50 and the first and second pairs of cavities 28, 30, 32, 34. As can be understood from FIG. 5, when the first end 18 of the support arm 12 is engaged in the tube 44, the longitudinal axes A, B, respectively of the first end portion 18 and the tube 44 are merged and extend in a vertical direction. Under the action of its own weight, the support arm descends, so that when the support arm is in one or other of the first and second positions, the first or second pair of cavities are engaged with the retainer 50.
[0016] In the example of FIG. 5A, the support arm is in its first position, and the retaining element 50 is received in the cavities 28, 30 of the first pair of cavities. It can also be seen in FIG. 5A that the retaining element 50 has a diameter d which is substantially equal to the width f of the cavities, so that the cooperation between the retaining element 50 and the pair of cavities 28, 30 has the effect of blocking the rotation of the support arm about the longitudinal axis B of the tube 44. Still with reference to Figure 5A, it is also found that the retaining element 50 is engaged at the bottom of the notches 28,30 whereby the end portion 18 rests on the retaining member 50. Also, the retaining member 50 further constitutes an axial abutment for holding the first end portion 18 in the tube 44. Also, Retaining element 50 has the advantageous dual function of allowing the support arm 12 to rotate in rotation relative to the base 14, and to carry the support arm 12. Referring to FIGS. 5A, 5B and 6, FIG. understands that we move from the first position to the d the second position by slightly lifting the support arm 12 so that the retaining element 50 exits the cavities 28,30, after which the user can rotate the support arm 12 in the tube 44 around the longitudinal axis B of the tube 44. Then, to lock the support arm 12 in its second position, the support arm is lowered so that the first end portion 18 slides downwards in the tube 44 until the cavities 32, 34 of the second pair engage the retaining element 50, thus realizing the locking in rotation and the holding of the support arm 12 in the base 14.
